Melway map 45 J8.

THE EXPERIENCE: With music, simple ritual and silence, this three-part Easter liturgy will invite reflection on the love, courage and passionate conviction of Jesus.  It will follow him through the violence of Good Friday and the darkness of Easter Saturday, into the light and new life of Easter Day.   He will be remembered as the one who resisted the violence of empire in the name of the God of love and peace.

Permission will be given for all or part of the liturgy to be used in churches during the Easter season.

The Progressive Christian Network of Victoria will again conduct an Easter Liturgy for 2012. The previous two liturgies have been welcomed as model experiences that express progressive Christian perspectives. A new venue this year will overcome the access problems some people encountered last year.
